Substitute crushed red pepper for the black pepper if you'd like a bit more heat.
Ingredients[]
- 8 ounces uncooked linguine
- 1 1/2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 3/4 cup (3 ounces) grated fresh Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Directions[]
- Cook pasta according to package directions, omitting salt and fat.
- Drain.
- Heat oil in a small saucepan over low heat.
- Add garlic; sauté 5 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from heat.
- Add pasta, cheese, salt, and pepper to pan; toss well to coat.
Yield: 4 servings (serving size: about 1 cup)
