Substitute crushed red pepper for the black pepper if you'd like a bit more heat.

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions, omitting salt and fat.
  2. Drain.
  3. Heat oil in a small saucepan over low heat.
  4. Add garlic; sauté 5 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from heat.
  5. Add pasta, cheese, salt, and pepper to pan; toss well to coat.

Yield: 4 servings (serving size: about 1 cup)
