Loretta Lynn's Upside-down Pizza

Ingredients

Sauce

• ½ bell pepper
• ½ white onion
• butter or margarine (enough to sauté)
• 1 lb ground beef
• oregano, garlic powder, salt and pepper (to taste)
• 1 cup mushrooms
• 1 large jar pizza sauce

Topping

• 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
• Parmesan cheese (as desired)

Crust

• 1 cup of milk
• 1 cup of Bisquick
• 1 tablespoon of oil
• 1 egg

Directions

1. Sauté peppers and onions in butter or margarine, then add hamburger and brown.
2. Drain.
3. Stir in pizza sauce, adding salt, pepper, oregano and garlic powder to taste.
4. Pour sauce mixture into pyrex pie plate.
5. Top with mushrooms and cheese.

Crust

1. Mix all crust ingredients together until smooth.
2. Pour over sauce mixture and sprinkle top with Parmesan cheese.
3. Bake 30 minutes at 375°F.
