  1. Combine together the malanga, pumpkin and spices (at this point the mixture can be kept in the freezer until ready to use. When thawed, then mix into the beaten egg).
  2. Next stir mixture into beaten egg and drop by 1 tablespoon into oil and deep-fry until golden in color.
