Description

Donuts! These are commonly sold by women in the market or at bus stations to earn a little extra income.

Ingredients

• 2 cups flour (all-purpose wheat flour)
• pinch of salt
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 2 tbsp sugar
• 1 beaten egg
• 1 cup milk or water
• oil for frying

Directions

1. Mix flour, salt, and baking powder in a bowl.
2. Add sugar, egg, and milk and beat until smooth.
3. Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, turning once.
4. Drain and enjoy.
