I cook this ham for Christmas and for Easter, but my husband thinks that twice a year is not enough. If it were up to him, we’d eat this every day! When I have larger hams, I double the glaze, which is also good on pancakes the next day. —Jeanie Beasley, Tupelo, MS

  1. Preheat oven to 300°.
  2. Place ham on a rack in a shallow roasting pan.
  3. Cover and bake until a thermometer reads 130°, 1 ½-2 hours.
  4. Meanwhile, in a large saucepan, combine glaze ingredients.
  5. Bring to a boil; cook and stir until mixture is slightly thickened, 2-3 minutes.
  6. Remove the ham from the oven.
  7. Pour glaze over the ham.
  8. Bake the ham, uncovered, until a thermometer reads 140°, 15-30 minutes longer.
