Makes 1 gallon.
- 1 gallon chopped or shredded cabbage (about 3½ lbs.)
- 2 chopped large green peppers
- 1 (4-oz) jar diced pimento
- 1 (16-oz) can diced tomatoes
- 3 Tbsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup cider vinegar
- Combine all ingredients well. Store tightly covered in refrigerator. You may use food processor to chop cabbage and green peppers, if you so desire.
