Mary's Salad

1 medium head Boston or bibb lettuce, torn into pieces 1/2 avocado, peeled and thinly sliced 1 can mandarin oranges, chilled and drained (11 oz) 1/2 cup chopped pecans, toasted 2 green onions, thinly sliced Pepper to taste 1/3 cup Italian dressing

combine all ingredients except dressing in salad bowl. Just before serving, add dressing and toss gently. Makes 6 servings Source: Deep in the Heart
