Description
If you have the time, it is a good idea to make your own mayonnaise. Remember it is important that the oil and the eggs have the same temperature. The best result is achieved by leaving the ingredients on the table for a few hours before using them.
Ingredients
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 egg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp lemon juice or wine vinegar
- 300 ml oil
- a little dijon mustard
Directions
Put egg yolk, egg, salt.
Lemon juice and mustard in the liquidizer with 75 ml oil.
Blend for about a minute.
Add the rest of the oil slowly in a thin squirt.
Keep on blending until the mayonnaise has the right consistency.
