Corn soup

  • Serves 6

  1. In a large saucepan, heat the butter over moderate heat.
  2. Add the onions and saute for 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in the tomatoes and cook for a few minutes.
  4. Add the corn, milk, stock, salt, and pepper, and simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Serve with bread or crackers.
