  • Meatloaf

    Meat loaf

    Serves: 4 - 5 with vegetables & or potatoes

Ingredients

  1. ⅔ cup dried breadcrumbs, soaked in
  2. 1 cup milk
  3. 1½ lbs ground beef
  4. 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  5. 1 cup chopped onions
  6. 1 chopped bell pepper
  7. 1 1/2 tsp Tony's creole seasoning
  8. 1 tsp liquid smoke
  9. 1 pkg onion soup mix
  10. 1 tsp A1 steak sauce
  11. ½ teaspoon sage

Glaze

  1. 3 tablespoons brown sugar
  2. ¼ cup ketchup

Directions

  1. Saute' onions and peppers
  2. Combine all meatloaf ingredients.
  3. Place on shallow pan or in loaf pan ( coat pan with non-stick spray)
  4. Top with 3/4 of glaze.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 50 minutes
  6. Top with remaining glaze, bake 10-15 min more (or until middle is not pink)
