  1. Put chopped melon into a large bowl.
  2. Combine pineapple orange juice, lime juice and salt and pour it over chopped melon.
  3. Let stand for two hours or refrigerate overnight.
  4. Mash or crush in small batches using a potato masher or blender.
  5. Press mashed fruit through a food mill or sieve to remove stringy pulp.
  6. There should be 9 to 11 cups juice.
  7. Add orange liqueur to juice and chill.
  8. To serve, pour juice into large serving bowl; add liquor if desired.
  9. Pour in chilled soda.
  10. Float ice and sliced fruit.
  11. Serve at once.

Juice slush Edit

  1. Put 2 cups chilled juice and 10 to 12 ice cubes into a blender; blend until ice is crushed.
  2. Pour into 4 glasses (1 cup each) and top off with chilled soda.
