Mexican Peppers

1/2 lb. lean ground beef 1 cup cooked rice 1 T. chopped onion 1/2 . garlic salt 1/2 t. hot pepper sauce 1/2 t. salt 1/4 t. pepper 1 can taco sauce (4 oz) 4 large green peppers 1/4 cup water 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese

In bowl, mix well the beef, rice, onion, garlic, salt, pepper sauce, salt, pepper and taco sauce. Cut tops off peppers. Remove seeds. Fill peppers with beef mixture. Put upright in baking dish. Add water; bake at 350 for 35 minutes; sprinkle cheese on each pepper. Bake 10 minute more. (285 calories per serving) Serves 4 Source: My Old Recipes
