Mom Marcon's Strawberry Glaze
Boil 3 strawberries in 1 cup water for 10 minutes. this is done so you get flavor and a little color. Throw away the strawberries and add 1/8 t. salt and 1/4 cup sugar to water and continue to cook until it gets dissolved. Mix 1 t. cornstarch in a little cold water. Pour a little at a time to sugar mixture until you get the right consistency. The pour over your strawberries. Source: My Mom and My Old Recipes
