  1. Heat oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion, garlic, lemon peel, salt, pepper, curry powder, turmeric and cinnamon. Cook 2 to 3 minutes or until onion is tender.
  2. Stir in rice, dates and almonds. Stir well to blend; cook until thoroughly heated.
