Ingredients[]
- 3 large potatoes
- a little salted water
- 1/2 tsp Tony's seasoning
- ½ to ¾tbls of butter
- ½ onion, chopped
- 1½ cups milk
- 3 tbsp flour
- 4 slices American cheese
Directions[]
- Cook potatoes in a little salted water until not quite tender
- Slice potatoes thin, put in casserole dish coated with non-stick spray (or butter) (after draining)
- Melt butter in seperate pan and add chopped onion
- Sauté in the butter until tender
- Add 1½ cups milk
- When bubbly, add 3 tbsp flour to thicken
- Add 4 slices American cheese
- Stir until melted
- Pour over potatoes and lightly mix so as not to break potatoes
- Bake at 350°F until brown
