  1. Slice paneer into long thin sheets and drain off excess water.
  2. For the stuffing, sauté spring onions and mushrooms in a pan.
  3. Add seasoning.
  4. Allow the mixture to be absolutely dry then let it cool.
  5. Add chopped ginger, coriander leaves, green chillies and grated cheese.
  6. Mix all the ingredients well.
  7. Put the mushroom mixture on the sliced paneer.
  8. Spread it evenly with a knife up to half the length of the sliced paneer and fold.
  9. Prepare a batter with corn flour / besan and water.
  10. Dip the prepared paneer in this batter and shallow fry in a non stick pan till they are golden brown.
  11. Serve hot with mint chutney.
