  1. In mixing bowl combine biscuit mix, mushrooms, onion, pimento, salt, and celery seed.
  2. Mix together egg yolk and sour cream; stir into dry ingredients just till moistened.
  3. Beat egg white to stiff peaks.
  4. Gently fold beaten egg white into mushroom mixture.
  5. In heavy saucepan or electric deep-fat fryer heat oil to 375 °F.
  6. Drop batter by tablespoon into hot oil.
  7. Fry about 2 minutes or till golden brown, turning once.
  8. Transfer to rack to drain.
  9. Serve hot.
  10. Enjoy.
