  1. Sauté chopped onion and garlic over moderate heat till soft.
  2. Add mushrooms.
  3. When soft (usually 2 minutes), add seasoning, low-fat sour cream or substitute and vinegar.
  4. Stir gently.
  5. When heated serve on rice or noodles or baked potatoes.
  6. Tip: when sautéeing mushrooms use little sautéeing agent and cook lightly. Never overcook mushrooms!!!
