Pronounced Choo-moose, and not hum-miss! This is the easiest, yummiest hummous you will try outside the Middle East.
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 (19 ounces) can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- ⅔ cup olive oil
- ½ cup [[tahini] (sesame sauce)
- 4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- Food process all and garnish with any of the above.
