About Neapolitan salami[]
A variety of Italian dry sausage that is made from pork meat combined with fat (veal meat also for some recipes) and seasoned with black or red pepper, chili flakes, garlic, and wine. The salami is typically stuffed in a casing and dry-ured for several months however, it may or must also be smoke-cured. Very spicy in flavor, Neapolitan sausages are formed into long, thin round sticks of salami.
