This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Leake Estate in Arlington, Texas in 1982.

  1. In a large mixing bowl cream butter with mixer until light then add sugar and cream together until light and fluffy.
  2. Slowly add flour,vanilla and salt mixing to blend thoroughly then drop by tablespoons onto well greased cookie sheets and bake for 8 minutes at 350°F.
