  1. Combine eggs, orange juice, milk, vanilla, orange zest, and salt in a mixing bowl.
  2. Mix well. Dip bread into the egg mixture.
  3. Place in a container large enough to hold them in a single layer.
  4. Pour any remaining egg mixture over the bread and refrigerate covered overnight.
  5. Fry in butter in a skillet or griddle until golden-brown on both sides. Top with the orange slices then serve hot and plain or with other desserts.
