Oregano Feta Dressing

6 oz. feta cheese, crumbled 1/2 cup buttermilk 6 T. freshly squeezed lemon juice 1 T. chopped fresh oregano leaves or 1 t. dried oregano leaves 1/2 t. freshly ground black pepper 1/4 cup water 2 cloves garlic 1/4 cup olive oil 1/2 small green pepper chopped

In a food processor, process cheese, buttermilk, juice, oregano, pepper, water and garlic until smooth. Gradually add oil in a steady steam, processing until smooth. Add green pepper and pulse 3 seconds. Cover and chill. Makes about 2 cups dressing Directions for gift card if giving as a gift: Store in refrigerator up to 1 weeks. use to dress salad greens or sliced tomatoes or cucumbers. Source: Unknown
