Oven Round Steak

1 1/2 to 2 1/2 pounds round steak Salt and pepper Flour 2 T. oil

Cut round steak into serving size pieces. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and coat with flour. Brown in hot oil in Dutch oven. Add about 1 cup water. Cover and bake at 350 for 2 to 3 hours or until meat is tender. Add additional water if needed. Serve the gravy with meat. Makes 4 to 6 servings. Tip: If desired, cook on top of stove over low heat, adding more water as needed. Source:Unknown
