Pumpkin Pone

An easy recipe for some tasty Pumpkin Pone, a French dish from French Guyana.

  1. Peel, wash and grate pumpkin and the coconut.
  2. Add the cornmeal, Sugar and margarine. Add the water to give it a dropping consistency.
  3. Then add the cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. Mix well. Pour into a greased pan.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees until brown.
  5. Remove from oven
  6. Wait till cooled
  7. Serve & eat!!!!!
