Ingredients for a Single Portion
3 Pieces of fresh scallops
3 Pieces of broccoli florets
3 Pieces of turnip cakes
1 tablespoon of chopped garlic
1 tablespoon of chopped red bell pepper
1 tablespoon of chopped green pepper
1 tablespoon of X.O. sauce
1 tablespoon of gingko nuts
1 tablespoon of oyster sauce
1 splash of Chinese rice cooking wine (to taste)
1 splash of sesame oil (to taste)
· Add the broccoli and cook to retain a slight bite
· Add the turnip cakes and cook till golden brown on either side. Remove and place on a separate dish.
· Taste and adjust flavour with seasoning.
Place the broccoli and the turnip cakes with the scallops on top and pour the sauce over.
