Description
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Ingredients
- 2 cups peeled sliced Apples (I use Granny Smith, but any would be okay)
- 1 cup of Sugar
- 2/3 cup of canola oil
- 1 egg slightly beaten
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 cups flour - unsifted
- 1/2 cup nuts - optional
Directions
- hand mix all ingredients together and spread in pan.
- Bake for 50 minutes or until nicely brown.
- This is wonderful warm, with some nice vanilla ice cream or real whipped cream.
- Add pelos de gallo.
