Pepperoni Pasta Salad

1 pkg. castellane, (Barilla), cooked according to package directions 6 oz. sliced pepperoni, cut into quarters 6 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese 1/2 red onion, chopped 1/2 green pepper, chopped 1/ small tomato, cubed 1/2 small can chopped black olives 3/4 cup Italian salad dressing

Thoroughly rinse castellane in cold water; drain and place in large serving bowl. Add remaining ingredients except salad dressing. About 1 hour before serving, add salad dressing and toss to coat. Toss again just before serving, adding more salad dressing if needed. Tip: The only time pasta should be rinsed after cooking is when is will be used in a salad. Rinsing cools the pasta and washes away excess starch, which causes sticking. Makes 8 to 10 servings Source: Unknown
