  1. In dutch oven or large pot, combine cider and cinnamon sticks over low heat.
  2. Insert cloves in apples.
  3. Add apples to cider.
  4. Increase heat, and bring mixture to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat, and simmer 30 minutes.
  6. Add lemon slices, and serve warm.
