  1. Place in large flat bowl with cooking liquid.
  2. Add 2 tbsp vinegar, salt and pepper.
  3. 1 onion thinly sliced.
  4. Mix together let set in frig a few hours (can be made ahead and put in canning jar)
  5. Use within a week.
