pink beans And Sausages
- 1/2 Lb. Link Sausages
- 2 Cups water
- 2 T. margarine
- 1 Cup Chopped Onion
- 1 Large clove garlic, Minced
- 4 Cups Cooked or Canned Pink or pinto beans, Drained
- 1/3 Cup Firmly Packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 Cup Catsup
- 2 T. cider vinegar
- 2 T. Prepared mustard
- 2 T. chili powder
- 3 Cups Hot Cooked white rice
Simmer Sausage in water in Medium Pan For About 5 Minutes. Remove Sausages, Drain Them And Cut Into Thin Slices. Turn Sausages Into Large Skillet With margarine, Onion And garlic And Over Medium Heat, Saut? Until onions Are Translucent. Add Remaining Ingredients Except rice And Cook, Stirring Occasionally Until beans Are Heated Through, About 15 Minutes. Serve Over Hot rice.
