  • 2 cups stone ground flour
  • 1 cup water


  1. Preheat oven to 400 °F.
  2. Combine the flour and water.
  3. Knead until smooth.
  4. Sprinkle some flour on a smooth surface and roll the dough flat until it is ¼ inch thick.
  5. Cut biscuits out with a can or a glass making each biscuit about 3-4 inches in diameter.
  6. Poke holes into each biscuit with a fork.
  7. Place on a floured cookie sheet.
  8. Bake for 35 to 45 minutes.
  9. It should come out hard and dry.
