Ingredients[]
- 1 lbs red kidney beans
- 1 large Onion
- 1 Ham bone
- 2 tsp whole cloves
- 8 oz canned tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp molasses
- 2 tsp salt
Directions[]
Soak beans, drain. Cover beans with fresh water, heat to boiling. Add sliced Onion, Ham bone, and cloves. Simmer 2 hours. Discard the cloves, and add remaining ingredients. Simmer an hour longer, adding a little hot water if beans cook too dry.
