  1. Split the pita bread into two halves.
  2. Score with knife, but don't cut completely through.
  3. Brush lightly with olive oil, sprinkle lightly with basil, garlic powder and Cayenne ground pepper.
  4. Place on cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees until golden or lightly browned.
  5. Cool and break into pieces.
