Cinnamon plum cake2

  • ¼ cup sugar, brown or white only
  • 2 tbsp. butter, cut in small pieces

Directions Edit

  1. Heat an oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-inch spring-form pan.
  2. Beat first 7 ingredients in a bowl 3 minutes or until pale.
  3. Add eggs; beat well.
  4. Beat out the sour cream, then flour until blended. Spread into a pan.
  5. Place plums wedges, skin side down and close together, around top edge of cake, make another circle of plums in the middle.
  6. Sprinkle with topping, sugar and dot with butter. Bake 1 hour and 20 minutes or until done.
  7. Cool in a pan 10 minutes.
  8. Remove pan sides. Serve warm or at room temperature.
