  • Makes 4 servings of french toast.

  1. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, extracts and spices.
  2. Soak pound cake slices in the mixture.
  3. Let sit 5 minutes.
  4. Heat butter in a skillet.
  5. Transfer soaked pound cake slices to the heated skillet and fry until golden brown.
  6. Dust with confectioners sugar and top with fruit or maple syrup.
