Powdered Sugar Fondue

1 cup unsifted powdered sugar 1 cup whipping cream 91/2 pint) 1 to 2 T. kirsch or brandy, to taste (optional)

In small pan, mix powdered sugar and whipping cream. Stirring, bring to full vigorously foaming boil. Cook 30 seconds. Pour into dessert fondue pot or other small dish. Stir in brandy if desired. keep warm over very low heat. Serve with fruit or pound cake. Makes 1 cup Source: My Old Recipes
