- 1 pkg. banana quick bread mix
- 1 (16 oz.) can undrained fruit cocktail
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts (or pecans)
- 1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/3 c. packed brown sugar
Directions[]
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Grease and flour an 8-inch square or 11x7 inch pan.
- Combine quick bread, egg, and fruit cocktail until well mixed using a wooden spoon.
- Pour into cake pan.
- In a separate bowl combine nuts, chocolate chips and brown sugar; sprinkle on top.
- Bake 35-45 minutes or until toothpick comes clean. Serve warm or cool.
