  1. In small saucepan, combine all ingredients.
  2. Bring to a boil; reduce heat.
  3. Cook 1 minute, stirring occasionally.
  4. Let stand until thickened.
  5. Serve with skim milk and sugar or with a sugar substitute, if desired.
  6. Microwave directions: in a 2-cup microwavable bowl, combine all the ingredients.
  7. Microwave on high 2 minutes 30 seconds, or until cereal begins to thicken; stir.
  8. Serve with skim milk and sugar, or sugar substitute, if desired.
  9. You can also substitute other dried fruits: apricots, cranberries, blueberries, etc.
