Requirements
- You own or have access to a camera.
- Have a passion for food or cooking.
Meet these requirements? Great! Here's your steps to becoming a photographer for Recipes Wiki!
- Find a recipe from Recipes Wiki you like the sound of! You can even browse random ones until you find something interesting.
- Cook and create the recipe! Presentation is not the most important thing, but if you can, or have the time, its always a bonus!
- Take a photo of your finished product!
- Eat it! If you have no other plans for your food, eat it! Why waste it?
- Download your pictures to your computer, this varies between camera makes, but most camera's allow you to do it via USB cable or Memory cards (this option is likely to require you buying a memory card reader, but for keen photographers, this is a useful piece of kit!)
- Upload your images to Recipes Wiki! If you've taken a lot of photos, choose the best ones of each dish, and when your ready, upload them!
- Check licenses and categorize your images! We have options for a lot of different free image licenses, but we've taken the care to explain them on our licenses page. (Don't worry about categorizing if your not comfortable, a more experienced member of the community will more than likely be happy to do it for you.)
- Add your images to articles. Its simple to add your images to articles, just click the image button on your editing toolbar! It'll give you a nice pop-up on adding them to pages.
- Hit save! Your done!
