  1. Measure rice into mixing bowl.
  2. Rinse and drain beans.
  3. Drain tomatoes and chop (save juice for another use).
  4. Add drained beans, tomatoes, cheese and onion to rice.
  5. Combine salad dressing, lemon juice, garlic powder and pepper.
  6. Add to rice mixture. Toss; salt to taste.
  7. Cover and chill 2 or more hours. Bring to room temperature to serve.
