  1. With stem side up, cut across Reed size 24 or 20, 2 inches down from stem.
  2. Remove seed.
  3. Using fork, break down fruit from the woody-skin and mash inside the California avocado.
  4. Add salt, pepper, garlic powder and salsa to taste.
  5. You now have your own hand-held Reedamole as a delicious appetizer.
