Dandelion salad. Slovenians pick the dandelion every spring. The plants must be very young. Older leaves are bitter.

  1. Clean and wash dandelion.
  2. Put warm potatoes on it.
  3. Melt bacon and mix with vinegar.
  4. Bring it to a boil and then pour over potato and dandelion to soften them a bit.
  5. Add other ingredients.
  6. Toss and garnish with sliced hard cooked eggs.
  7. Use as salad or as light dish.
  8. Serve immediately.
