Half salsa and half guacamole, this tasty mixture is a great companion for tacos, burritos, and tortilla chips.
Ingredients[]
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
- 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 serrano chile, seeded and finely chopped
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 ripe peeled avocado, seeded and coarsely mashed
- 1 tomato, chopped
Directions[]
- Combine first 6 ingredients in a medium bowl.
- Add cilantro, avocado, and tomato; stir well.
- Serve immediately.
Yield: 1 cup (serving size: 2 tablespoons
