  1. In a pan, melt butter.
  2. Add water and dissolve bouillon cubes.
  3. Stir in mushrooms and remaining seasonings.
  4. Cover and cook 10 to 15 minutes.
  5. Variation: add 1 tbsp sherry.
  6. Hint: for a glossy finish to sautéed mushrooms, add a little lemon juice to the butter.
