An Italian-American favorite, this popular dish is served in restaurants all over America because everybody just loves it. I hope you enjoy this family-friendly version with lots of tangy lemon juice and garlic. Serve the shrimp over your favorite pasta or rice!

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, season the shrimp with 1/2 teaspoon of the salt and the pepper.
  2. Toss to coat.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the shrimp and cook, stirring occasionally, for 2 to 3 minutes, until pink.
  5. Add the lemon juice, garlic, chicken broth, green onion, and the 1/4 teaspoon of salt to the skillet.
  6. Bring to a boil and cook until slightly reduced, 2 to 3 minutes.
  7. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the butter and chopped parsley.
  8. Toss with the cooked pasta and serve hot.

YIELD: 4 to 6 servings
