  1. Slice tofu into ½-inch steaks.
  2. Each steak should be about 2 x 3 x ½-inches.
  3. Whisk together soy sauce, garlic and ginger in a small bowl.
  4. Dip the steaks into the soy sauce mixture.
  5. Cook in an oiled pan over medium high heat for 10 minutes until browned, turning tofu after 5 minutes.
