  1. In a skillet, heat 1 tbs of oil.
  2. Season both sides of the steak with ¼ tsp salt and ⅛ tsp pepper.
  3. Saute 3 minutes per side or until done. Set aside.
  4. Add remaining oil to skillet.
  5. Add mushrooms and garlic and cook 5 minutes.
  6. Add flour and cook 1 min.
  7. Add sherry, stir in broth.
  8. Bring to a boil, boil 1 minute.
  9. Reduce heat and cook 4 minutes or until thickened.
  10. Season with remaining salt and pepper.
  11. Stir in butter.
  12. Microwave potatoes following package directions.
  13. Serve with sliced steak and sauce and a side dish of carrots.
