  1. Mince garlic cloves.
  2. Stir together all ingredients in large deep kettle.
  3. Simmer over low heat.
  4. Stir occasionally until sauce thickens for about 1 hour.
  5. Cool and store in covered containers in refrigerator until ready to use.
  6. Keeps for several weeks in refrigerator and is especially good with roast beef or spareribs.
