SNOWY POTATO SALAD This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Poe Estate in Justin, Texas in 1987. 3 medium potatoes cooked until just tender. 1 cup celery finely chopped 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion 1 cup creamed cottage cheese 1 cup sour cream 1 teaspoon chopped chives 1 teaspoon salt Refrigerate potatoes until cool then dice. Combine celery, onion, cottage cheese, sour cream, chopped chives and salt. Pour over potatoes and toss well then refrigerate at least one hour.
